New Bus for London changes: Update

UPDATE:

Two more routes have been announced for New Bus for London conversion

26th October:      Route 9: Hammersmith Bus Station - Aldwych via Kensington
30th November:   Route 390: Archway - Notting Hill Gate via Oxford Street

I for one, disagree with the choice of routes here, some may agree with the conversion for Route 9, but I'm not so sure, although it serves Kensington, Royal Albert Hall, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park & Trafalgar Square, not only that but becoming a bit of a tourist attraction, I still don't think that the 9 is up for it. Plus it has some of the heritage Routemasters on  it which doesn't exactly help. Plus I think the current stock it has work well, the Volvo Engined B7TL's work quite well, and with the Voith gearbox sounding absolutely amazing and a bit weird at the same time, I don't really want to lose the VLE's.

A non-allocated Scania  OmniCity on Route 9, SP174 (YT10XBX) is seen
at Hounslow Bus Station, seen curtailing to Piccadilly Circus, despite the
fact that it no longer serves Piccadilly Circus any more.

But the 390 on the other hand, the idea for Route 390 to be converted is beyond me, yes, it serves Oxford Street, Marble Arch & King's Cross, but I don't exactly think it would be necessary to convert to NB4L, it works perfectly fine with the VPL's with the occasional pop-up of a VW, but still, 390, definitely not an adequate choice for NB4L conversion.

Holloway Garage's VPL593 (LK04NNB) operating Route 390, presumably
along Bayswater Road, curtailing unusually at Tufnell Park
